Welcome to the world’s largest Ramadan Festival!
The Ramadan Festival is a yearly celebration of art, culture, and creativity
that seeks to unite people of all backgrounds through captivating experiences.
Through these events, we foster unity, awareness, and deeper
understanding to build bridges and bring communities together.
Some places we’ve been…

Ramadan 2023 marks 10 phenomenal years of Ramadan Tent Project and our signature Open Iftar events. Over the past 9 years, our humble tent on a patch of green grew and grew, before it travelled to landmark locations! This Ramadan, become a part of our milestone by joining us as we continue to foster the strength of community through warmth and connection.

The theme to mark our 10-year anniversary is ‘Belonging’. For the past decade we’ve connected
and convened over half a million people from all backgrounds. Our passion in bridging between
different communities is rooted in sharing our authentic selves with the world. True belonging
shouldn’t require you to change who you are – rather, it’s to celebrate who you are.
Softening hearts and minds, turning strangers into friends, building stronger communities and
bridging are all fundamental mechanisms in working towards an inclusive space for all.
To celebrate this work and our 10-year journey, the theme of ‘Belonging’ quintessentially
culminates everything Ramadan Tent Project represents.

Open Iftar is the UK’s largest community event in Ramadan, and it’s our flagship project.
Since 2013, we’ve connected over 500,000 people across the country at some of Britain’s most loved & iconic cultural spaces, from the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Stadium, and Trafalgar Square, to our regional events at BALTIC Museum, Bradford’s Centenary Square, Coventry Cathedral and many more!
Tickets will be released only through our newsletter, make sure to subscribe to our mailing list to be the first to know when FREE tickets become available.

Our virtual discussions take place on Instagram Live during Ramadan. We bring Ramadan Lates to you to talk about reflecting and unwinding – where are we mentally, physically, and spiritually?
Various partner organisations and individuals take over the Ramadan Tent Project Instagram page throughout the month to build connections, share their insights, and help keep our audiences engaged in the spirit of Ramadan.
