GET INVOLVED
There’s more than one way to be part of Ramadan Tent Project.
Come to an event, give your time as a volunteer or bring your skills to our team. However you choose to take part, there’s a place for you here.
ATTEND AN EVENT
Our events bring people of all faiths, beliefs and backgrounds together through food, culture, conversation, movement and shared experiences.
Whether it’s your first experience of Ramadan or something you return to every year, you don’t need to know anything about Ramadan before you come. Just come as you are.

need to know
What you
will get
- A warm iftar every time you volunteer, shared with fellow volunteers and guests.

- Practical experience in teamwork, communication and event delivery.
- A certificate recognising your volunteering.

Event Day Volunteers are at the heart of Ramadan Festival: welcoming guests, supporting operations, and helping create a warm, inclusive, and memorable experience for all. From greeting attendees to assisting on the ground, this role is about bringing energy, care, and a sense of belonging to every moment.Â
 Â
All you need is a warm welcome and a willingness to help. Volunteered at events before? We’d love to hear from you.Â
Team Leads are the people volunteers look to on the day. You'll lead a team, set the tone and help make sure every guest has a warm, well-run iftar. It's a chance to take on more responsibility and step up as a leader. Â
Experience leading, supporting or coordinating others, at work, in your community or at events, is welcome. You don't need to be a perfect fit. Â
Team Leads arrive early at the venue, help with volunteer inductions and need to be available on both weekend days. Further details are in the listing. Applications close on Friday 13 November.Â
Social Media Volunteers help bring Ramadan Festival to life online: capturing meaningful moments, telling powerful stories, and sharing the spirit of Ramadan with audiences across the UK and beyond. From photography and videography to real-time content and storytelling, this role is about creating content that connects, inspires, and reflects the heart of the festival.
Some experience in photography, videography or content creation. You’ll be asked to share examples of your work when you apply.
Bring your
skills to RTP
Behind every experience is a team working to bring people together.
We’re always interested in people who believe in our mission and want to use their skills to help create more opportunities for people of different faiths, beliefs and backgrounds to meet and connect.
