Ramadan Tent Project proudly returns
with Ramadan Festival 2026
Ramadan Festival is our annual celebration of connection, learning, and shared humanity – bringing people of all faiths and none together across the UK to experience the spirit of Ramadan.
In 2026, we gathered under the theme of Hope - a light that united, inspired, and guided communities toward brighter days.

From historic firsts at Banqueting House and Silverstone Circuit, to new cities including Bradford, Brighton, Birmingham, and Glasgow, Ramadan Festival 2026 reached new heights. We also hosted one of the highest Open Iftars in Europe at 22 Bishopsgate, before closing with our largest ever Open Iftar at Trafalgar Square, welcoming over 3,000 people.
Across our four flagship activations - Welcome Ramadan Conference, Open Iftar, Fast A Day, and Ramadan Run Club - we created moments of reflection, movement, learning, and connection, bringing communities together through mind, body, and soul.
Each gathering was more than an event. It was a space where conversations began, connections were formed, and hope was lived and shared.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, and supported this journey. Together, we continue to bring communities together – and this is only the beginning.

The annual Welcome Ramadan Conference is a flagship event designed to prepare the public for the blessed month of Ramadan, creating a space for reflection, learning, and connection through meaningful discussions, spiritual insights, and inspiring voices from across the community.
On 26 January 2026, the Welcome Ramadan Conference returned to London at Soho Theatre Walthamstow, where it all began, bringing together over 500 attendees for an uplifting evening centered around the festival theme of Hope. The event featured powerful reflections, heartfelt conversations, and creative expressions led by a diverse panel of speakers and performers who helped guide hearts and minds in preparation for Ramadan 2026.
Together, the evening was a beautiful reminder of the strength of community, intention, and shared purpose.

Following the landmark moment at Windsor Castle in 2025, Open Iftar continued its journey in 2026 with new historic and iconic locations across the UK.
For the first time, we hosted a historic Open Iftar at Banqueting House in London, alongside new gatherings at Silverstone Circuit, Bradford Live, Brighton Dome, the Library of Birmingham, and in Glasgow - welcoming even more communities into the experience.
We also reached new heights with one of the highest Open Iftars in Europe at 22 Bishopsgate, bringing the spirit of Ramadan to one of London’s most iconic skyscrapers.
From city to city, each Open Iftar brought people of all faiths and none together to share meals, build connections, and experience the spirit of Ramadan.
We closed the festival with our largest ever Open Iftar at Trafalgar Square, welcoming over 3,000 people in a powerful moment of unity, belonging, and shared humanity.

Ramadan Run Club (RRC) is RTP’s movement-led activation, bringing people together through running, reflection, and connection during the holy month.
Rooted in the spirit of Ramadan, Ramadan Run Club (RRC) supports holistic wellbeing – nurturing the body, mind, and soul – while creating a welcoming space for runners of all abilities and backgrounds, including people of all faiths and none.
Each run was more than movement. It was a moment of intention, community, and shared purpose as we prepared for and journeyed through Ramadan together.
In 2026, we brought Ramadan Run Club to incredible locations across London, including Soho Theatre Walthamstow, Battersea Arts Centre, Guildhall, and 22 Bishopsgate - welcoming runners to move with purpose throughout the month.

Fast A Day brought the spirit of Ramadan into workplaces across the UK – creating moments of empathy, reflection, and connection through shared experiences.
In 2026, we partnered with leading organisations including Ogilvy, Springer Nature, and Arriva Rail, while also hosting Fast A Day for the very first time at Wellcome Trust, Lenovo, and Renaissance Re.
Each gathering was more than a meal – it was an opportunity to build understanding, strengthen community, and bring people of all faiths and none together.
